Brent Jaynes is one of the co-founding members of Leisure Real Estate Advisors LLC with over 30 years of investment real estate and hotel brokerage experience. His wide range of real estate expertise and advanced training establish him as a valued partner in today’s complex hotel real estate environment. Since its first listing in 1998 and under the direction of Mr. Jaynes, the company has become one of the regional & national leaders in hotel brokerage. Collectively, the Leisure Real Estate Advisors brokerage group represents over $1.5 billion in transactions. Individually, Mr. Jaynes is responsible for nearly a billion dollars in sales. He has been recognized by CoStar many times for their Power Broker award. He is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Kansas Association of Realtors, Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors, CCIM Kansas City chapter, and KCRAR Commercial Investment division. Mr. Jaynes growing client list includes a broad range of owners including local and regional banks, individual owners, multi property partnerships, regional hotel companies, insurance companies, private equity and national investment groups. Mr. Jaynes received his undergraduate training from Kansas State University and his doctorate with honors at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he also served as assistant professor for graduate students. He has been an active member of the community as a volunteer in local civic organizations. Mr. Jaynes has served as President and board member of the Overland Park South Rotary Club, and Chairman of the Corporate Woods Jazz Festival. More recently, he has co-chaired the Jazz in the Woods 5 & 10K Run. He has also served on a number of non-profit boards, including the Kansas City Christian Academy Board of Directors. He is a member of the Johnson County (KS) Reappraisal committee as the hospitality real estate specialist. For over 30 years, Mr. Jaynes has volunteered as a youth football coach, grades 5th through 8th. He also enjoys upland bird hunting and training at a local Krav Maga self-defense academy for fitness. He and his wife Elizabeth have been long term residents of Overland Park, KS where they have raised three wonderful children.
